Very cool, Bob.
-
Those bots look MINT! I seriously can not wait for this. :D
-
Thanks! I hope to have it running by this weekend .

Here's a test of two of the axis. Rotation is next. Tom will actually be attached on a pipe 8" above the table surface.

One question, how do you keep the head from flying off? ;)
-
Lol, nothing yet. Tape I guess. I'd hate to have to glue it.
-
Rotation has been finished.

Wow, this is really cool stuff!

+1
-
Thanks! I need to attach Tom Servo to the platform. Now it's like he's riding a mechanical bull.
-
Ron, what does "+1" mean?
-
It's the "like" for the new Google+ social networking site... but everyone has used it as a "sign of approval" since forever ago ;)
-
Lol, sorry. I'm old.
-
I've got Tom's mouth servo added. The servo is mounted to the controll rod in the hoverskirt and will rotate with Tom's head.

Thanks Ron!
-
He looks a little spastic, lol. All 5 servos are working.

-
Wow, no way! His mouth moves too?! This is incredible.
-Derek
-
Thanks Derek. His mouth is synced to the audio. The software converts the audio wave form into servo instructions. I was too lazy to edit out Crow's and Mike's parts. For this test anyway, lol.
-
Hands down, that has got to be one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my entire life.
-Derek
-
Thanks Derek! I'll post videos of Crow when I've finished tearing him apart, lol.
-
Here's Crow's three axis platform. Now I get to automate Crows neck, mouth and eyes. Something I've been procrastinating...

That's going to be a challenge.
-
I have it drawn out, and it *should* work, lol.
-
I have the lower half of Crow mounted to the platform with the head servo in place.

-
This is so awesome. This is the kind of project I think most of us here would do if we could.
But, I just can't help wondering if "irony' is the way to describe a servo controlled Crow...
-
Lol I thought that too.
Here's where it is today.

I can't wait to see the eyes moving!
-
Yeah me too! It's all finished an put back together.
I have to set limits on all the servos in the control software and I'll try it out. Tomorrow, lol.
