I'm still alive!!

Things have been a bit crazy on my end, but I definitely still have a mouth that's the right sculpt but too big.  It's been cut/painted Waverly colors, but if that's not a problem, I'd definitely be down for getting it scanned!

Buy / Sell / Trade / Re: Looking to purchase a Gypsy and Cambot
« on: June 20, 2018, 02:38:02 PM »
That's a good question.  As far as I know, there isn't anyone out there still selling complete replicas of those two bots.  Due to the rarity of the parts (Gypsy's car seat, Cambot's fruit bowl), it's pretty much become the realm of individuals finding all the bits and building them themselves.

That said, it's always possible to find the parts yourself and then, if you're not comfortable building the bots on your own, send the parts to another builder who can build them for you!  I'm sure there would be a forum member or two here on this site that'd be willing to offer their expertise!  My best advice is to keep watch on eBay for the parts you need, and once you have them, maybe see if someone here is willing to help you put the pieces together!

This buy/sell/trade page is also an excellent place to monitor for rare parts popping up online, so bookmark it just in case one of the parts you're looking for shows up!

I hope this helps!  Good luck on your bot building quest!

Tom Servo / Re: Servo replacement globe?

Finding these bad boys is getting harder these days, but I'm currently trying to figure out some acceptable replacements that can be purchased or built.

Here are a few links to some machines that have similar globes.  They aren't 100% the same, but I'm sure you can work with them to make them work:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00756ZOW6/ref=sspa_mw_detail_6?psc=1 (Hopefully the smiley face can be scrubbed or scrapped off)

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KMLZB6/ref=sspa_mw_detail_2?psc=1&smid=A3AWLQQ72QSTX9

Or, you can contact SledgeRipRock the Great and Powerful (he's the gentleman responsible for the Crow/Tom kits and reproductions on eBay, and he worked on Season 11!) and see if maybe he can't hook you up with just the globe:

I hope this helps.  ;D

^Congealed fat/grease/juice from cooked burger meat.  It gets poured into the funnel when new meat has to be cooked in the frier.

It's absolutely GROSS.

Good news... I found a funnel nearly identical to the one used for Reptilicus Metallicus' head at work!

The bad news...

I work at fast food joint.

Eww.

For the sake of posterity, I thought I'd leave this here...

The secret show was a riff on the dorkiest superhero film since Pumaman: Argoman, the Fantastic Superman.  For anyone whose interested, you can get the movie here:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AQSDMIS/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

With any luck, the live version was filmed during one of the shows and will make it to DVD one day.

Last time I was at my local antique mall, they had an entire shelf of just Masters of the Universe stuff, and there were three Battle Bones there!  I didn't nab them because I was short on money, plus I have a complete one already.  I have all but the spine connector/handle and the rear legs for a second one that I wanted to turn into Enoch, but just buying a whole new one will probably come out to the same price as tracking down three tiny parts on eBay.

Don't you hate it when you want to buy a 99 cent piece of plastic... but the shipping is $3.99?  :P

^Dear God, I hope so.

With the show back in production, talk about a bad time to stop producing such a pivotal part!
