Buy / Sell / Trade / WTB set of turbo trains
« on: October 12, 2020, 07:49:19 PM »
I'm refurbing my old Servo and my trains have spit. Checking to see if anybody has some for sale before I drag out all the junk to make them again.

My wife surprised me with two things this last Thursday night. She discovered that our local Regal theater was showing a live Rifftrax presentation of Night of the Living Dead, and she went with me. She's always understood my MST3K obsession, but never really enjoyed it herself, but after having seen the live show, she "gets it" now and can't wait for the Dec 5th showing of  Santa Claus Conquers the Martian.
I was really, really nice surprise. I loved it when they showed the audience at the live venue, there were bots and Gizmonic logos, my wife said "Ohhhh, you should have brought yours..."

Buy / Sell / Trade / I have some hard to find parts - what are they worth?
« on: February 23, 2012, 10:13:20 AM »
Let me start by saying that my son is in immediate dire need and I am trying to help him in any way I can. I have found myself in a "hanging on by my fingernails" situation this last year so my resources are limited. One of the last resources I have is my parts collection, which is not large by any measure. I have pulled the best of the lot and am considering putting them up on eBay for a short term auction, but I have been away from trading and selling for years and I don't know the value anymore, so I'm asking you all for your best guesses as to what my stuff is worth. The items I am considering selling are as follows: A Century Infant Loveseat, Eveready Floating Flashlight, Vacuform "Bow" for the back of Gypsy's head, Cooper XL7-FG faceguard, Grabber Claw toy (if you want to make Crow's legs), original Schwarz Bros soapdish, Carousel Candy Dispenser in original unopened package, exact sized Boo Bowl substitute.  I'd like to sell them as a single lot.
Thanks, Gregg

Tom Servo / Servo substitute bowl at Kohl's
« on: July 30, 2011, 07:27:04 PM »
I found these at Kohl's in Orlando today. The green one is 29.99, the white one is 12.99. The white one is a little thicker than the green and both are made of melamine - brittle. The green one is slightly dished on the bottom, but should be OK.  I think the prices are too high but if you need one right away, most Kohls will have them. Also you could wait until fall and see if they close them out cheap. Lastly bring a tape measure because I just eyeballed 'em

Everything else... / The Creeping Error Desktop program
« on: April 27, 2011, 05:07:39 AM »
Wow, I'm seeing some other "onelist" members here - awesome!
Does anybody here have a copy of "The Creeping Error Desktop program"? All the links to it out there are to the defunct page that Devin offered it from. Back in the day I never got to really enjoy it because it's a real memory hog and my PC was pathetically underpowered, now a few years later, my current pathetically underpowered PC is amazing by comparison and should run it just fine.
Unfortunately, I can't find my copy, I'm hoping another old guy has it lying around somewhere....
BTW - it's freeware and OK to give away
