I had a pipe break behind my workbench three weeks ago when we didnt get above 10 degrees for more than a few days.  So the garage was flipped upside down and everything got rearranged.  It was the pipe that feeds the hot water heater so I did not feel comfortable fixing it myself.  Luckily the plumber was a huge fan of Scifi and specifically Starwars.  Parts of jumbo waverly were piled in a clear bin on the workbench and he finally asked what it was.  So I went and got faux Waverly and BB8 and he did the whole repair for the cost of materials.

So now that the garage is usable again, I can work on fixing Waverly and building Jumbo Waverly.  Once Waverly is working he might start singing opera.  Gotta start building that hype for Season 12.

Until then BB8 on ice:

Alienators, Exterminator 2, Robot Jox, Eye of the Tiger, and Beyond the Time Barrier.  Those are all owned by Shoutfactory and all prime for MST3k.

I love that you are building them based around servos.  Whats your endgame here?  Easier operation or are you going to do something like rig them up and cut the audio lines out of the films then build movement routines based around the clips so they move when the ones on the screen do?

Awesome work.  I love the leg concept and the proper nondescript feet.  Could you scale it down to an even smaller size?  To fit in with the season figures.

Also can I see a full shot of that Big Trouble Poster?  Ive not seen that one.

Has anyone scanned the parts and have 3d files?  I now have a 3d printer so I can make a proper Waverly!

Kinga Panel:

3x square buttons = Unknown

Nice work.  How did you keep the mouth open for the photo?

I predicted that APE would be on this season.  But if they air it would they keep the bird scene?

So updates:
Smits painted the skull on the helmets while wife cut the ribs out of the handmade life jackets:

The project yall didnt get to hear about was Smits and wife making a Synthia costume.  Heres wife and Smits at the con they are at this weekend:

The gun is an old drill attached a candlestick to to make a raygun years ago and when getting christmas out last week she found it.  It is a good substitute for a "Watch out for Snakes" Gun which is on the docket for next year.  Modgepodge would not attack to gasket, so reflective tape won out for the quick fix.
