So a late night at the office and the wife being out of town gives the world this mismash of data

Wheaton Headset: - David Clark aviation headset, likely an HT-30:
Desk Mic: 60s Calrad Space Age Mic:
This is not the specific one, or if it is the one in the show has a different connector.
Chair: unknown

Kinga Panel:

3x square buttons = Unknown
Center button = Mushroom head push button
3x round buttons = bottoms of easter eggs
Rubber tubing
Mic on back desk = looks like a Shure Super 55, but I don’t think they would use that as a background prop.

Backjack cockpit left to right:

Left Panel: Left half is a Grass Valley secondary video editing panel mounted sideways, right half is unknown – I imagine this was handmade.
TV – late 2000s Westinghouse or Samsung tv
Drumset - PDP by DW FS Series Drum Kit Red to Black:
Right panel – Grass Valley Kayak with some extra parts.

Backjack control panel

Back panel = a print out – same one used by Wil Wheaton – like (left to right): ly the control panel for the Backjack is one that was used by the puppets.  It has the print out all the way across.
Box on Panel = Unknown – looks like an old mainframe panel or an analogue synth panel – like a Serge.
Seat = Unknown – I have feelers out with a buddy who knows cars.  My gut is a mid 90s VW Eurovan seat.
Steering Wheel = wide center steering wheel with top and bottom cut off and the ends coated with yellow plasticdip
Jonahs Headset = Another David Clark HT-30 headset and  Sennheiser headphones
Speaker = generic full range speaker with a yellow cone with a square plate.
Joystick = Wilco Atari 2600 Command Joystick – Bat Handle.
Screen = green screen box
Right Panel = Another Grass Valley Video Switcher.  The upper right corner is the GVG key block

Nice work.  How did you keep the mouth open for the photo?

I predicted that APE would be on this season.  But if they air it would they keep the bird scene?

So updates:
Smits painted the skull on the helmets while wife cut the ribs out of the handmade life jackets:

The project yall didnt get to hear about was Smits and wife making a Synthia costume.  Heres wife and Smits at the con they are at this weekend:

The gun is an old drill attached a candlestick to to make a raygun years ago and when getting christmas out last week she found it.  It is a good substitute for a "Watch out for Snakes" Gun which is on the docket for next year.  Modgepodge would not attack to gasket, so reflective tape won out for the quick fix.

My bad, the yellow action pilot is apparently super rare.  However the Yellow Jumpsuit is part of the 70s Action team Line:

It is also likely that there is a modern 12 inch that has it.  I will admit I am not super versed on Gi Joes.

So making up the delayed pieces I made a quick trip to homedepot to find some plumbing parts 3/4inch piping 30degree turn and a screw in cap.  Took some pink foam to make the pauldrons.  I poorly spun some wire for the arms but it will work for the weekend:

Glued together arms:

And glued on the helmet pre heat forming:

Once it is heatformed it will work until the real parts can be obtained.  Once we get the real parts we will look into automating him.

So modgepudge is running off the we are going with the backup plan of reflective tape.

So bones got three coats of paint, two of modge podge, and three coats of spray paint:

Then with some quick knife and hot glue work:

While doing this work, the wife and smits traced a pattern to foam and we cut it out and barged it together:

Itll get the ribs cut out and painted white tonight.

They will never cover a mainstream movie, that is what Rifftraxs is for.

Oh there are plenty of crappy movies still out there to grab, off the top of my head:
No Retreat No Surrender

I was working on finding the person with the rights to Traxx for awhile but found out through a friend who works in film metadata but found out that it is stuck in HBO licensing hell.  My gameplan was to find the owner and just send it over to BBI.  It is a movie made by a radio show host who somehow convinced a company to make a film staring him.  It is about a cop who is too good, who becomes a mercenary, who becomes a baker, then becomes a town tamer.  It is one of two films that guest stars Famous Amos!  But yeah, it goes from an action movie to a cooking show back to an action movie.

Nose could be a keychain of a dinosaur or a spaceship:

Alot of random toys in the 90s had keychains in the box for some reason.  I have emailed the only Power Ranger collector I know about it.

The only downside of my inlaws is that they live where the internet does not reach.  So I got to fire it up for the last host segment and now for the great Season 5 episode Santa Claus.

Cheer up Frank, that $25 bond can be cashed in six years.
