Legs for my Crow.
« on: April 20, 2015, 03:11:35 PM »
Hi everyone, I'm gonna be going to the comic convention in my city, (Appleseed Comic Con) and I'm building legs for my Crow, also working on mounting his stand on caster wheels, I have a basic plan of what I'm gonna do, I just have to see if it'll work.

Okay I built and painted the legs, the joints were plastic made from a broken sterilite container. The other parts were from a knock-off Robo-Claw found at Wal-Mart, and wooden dowels and lamp rods, The Idea i had was to attach a dowel to the lower floralier vase, but that fell through. A while back I talked to Bob and he recommended cutting pieces of a 2x4 to hug the floralier vase. My new plan is to hot glue tiny bits of 2x4 on the inside rim of the vase and and screw in place more 2x4 bits that jut outward like hips and paint them flat black and drywall screw the legs onto there, I need some Pipe insulation on the thighs.

He's kinda Skinny, he looks like a carpenter ant!

No He's Anti-rexic

BTW I was referencing KTMA episode Phase IV
