Gypsy's main paint is Testors #1531 Purple Metal Flake.

http://www.testors.com/product/0/1531/_/Purple_Metal_Flake_-_14_oz._BottleGypsy's "control knob" and support tube and flat black or semi-gloss black.
Gypsy's lips changed colors from time to type.. and were sort of inconsistent in later years. However, Testors #1639 Sapphire Blue Metal Flake (now known as simply Blue Metal Flake) is a nice contrast to the Purple Metal Flake.

Primer coat for Gypsy's body is up to the builders personal preference. I've always seen people using just a flat black or "non-chrome" silver spray paint.
If you're curious about Gypsy's eye, it's not paint, it's a yellow theatrical lighting gel cut to the size of the bulb cover on the Floating Lantern. These can be sourced from theatrical lighting supply houses or many places like Hobby Lobby.
