Tom Servo "Haircut" Heads
« on: November 12, 2015, 10:27:51 AM »
If anyone is after a haircut head, there is a Nestle-branded candy dispenser made by Termotex.  Granted it is tan but it will be painted anyway.  Cost me $12.

I bought one of those in April, mine was brown and painted it with Rustoleum Painters Touch Gloss Colonial Red. Now If you watch the Shout Factory releases of 205- Rocket Attack U.S.A. and 206- Ring of Terror, you can clearly see that the 'Haircut" dispenser is bright red and unpainted. with mine I decided to just paint it Testors Red Metalflake. Also DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY on silver spray paint, use Testors brush on model paint. No matter how hard you try to mask off the red the silver spray paint will always find a way to get onto the red.

You can spray the beak just fine, but you need to use a brush-on paint for touchups. That's the easiest way. The red is easier to retouch than the silver, so allow for silver overspray before red.
