Is $500.00 a fair price for a Gypsy?

Trying to complete my bot collection...and (I think) I've finally found a Gypsy. The seller (who doesn't have possession or photos) says they'll let it go for $500.00. Does a decent Gypsy build go for that nowadays? Not that I have a problem paying that for an accurate build. I'm just waiting to see some pics before going any further with this. Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks for your concern. I haven't heard back from this guy today. I'm hoping to hear back by tomorrow at the latest. He's from out of state...so PayPal or some other 3rd party payment should make a safe and secure transaction. I just hope this guy isn't blowing smoke up my butt. Finding a Gypsy is turning out to be a lot more grief then I thought it would be.

Seller backed out  >:( Grrr! If anyone else has one they're looking to sell...I'm in the market to buy.
