I found my KTMA Gypy seat in a thrift shop... so I guess it's possible.

Related story:  In 1999 there was a convention in St. Louis that had Mike, Kevin, Bill, and Mary Jo as the guests.... some guy in the vendor area had TONS of original bot parts for sale... he must have had 20 Century car seats.  I asked him where he got them all, he said he'd been to every Goodwill between St. Louis and Chicago to find them all....  if memory serves he was asking $25 each.  I wasn't a bot builder at the time, so I didn't realize that I should have bought every last one...

people are saying that season 5.5-10 cambot was made from a fruit ripening bowl what type of bowl is it ????? the closest thing i have found is the California summer fruit ripening bowl but even then it has holes in the top of the domed lid and a wooden handel

I made a season 2-5.5 cambot made from cardboard, a metal can, paper towel holder, gypsy tubing and a real rotating light

To my knowledge, there isn't a 100% accurate list of parts for KTMA Cambot...  Season 1 is basically a repurposed KTMA Gypsy, and those child seats are damn near impossible to find...  and Season 2 Cambot needs a rather rare early 80's Kenner AT-AT body that I'm sure most Star Wars fans would knife you in an alley for.  LOL

I'm 99% certain that I found an unknown part in that season 2-5 cambot besides the star wars at-at. If you freeze the video you can see that there is most definitely a baby doll with a missing head and arms. Also if you look closely, you can see that there is a hole in the baby's belly, right under its chest. Joel has been known to drill holes into his plastic toys but I highly doubt that that he drilled a hole in this doll's stomach. That idea just seems sloppy, especially because the protruding piece does not fit snugly into the hole. So what would be the point of drilling a hole in the baby's stomach if it were too big? This special baby doll has a hole specially cut by the manufacturer, but why? Well, it seems as though an overgrown belly button would be the answer, meet "belly button baby: me so silly/me so happy." It's a vintage 1970's doll that matches part of cambot's lens perfectly.

The neck seems too short, and there is a very definite round "socket" at the arm connection that the doll in that auction is missing.

I think when you remove the baby's head the stem will appear. Also, I believe that you will see the socket when the arm is removed. I just bought one and I will take pictures when I find out for sure.
