Body couplers
« on: May 10, 2011, 02:03:18 PM »
How do you keep those two pieces of Floralier from flying apart like some crazy flying apart flower decor thing?

SIMPLE!

You need the handy-dandy RonCo BODY COUPLER!

Simply take 2 3/4" PVC extenders, whittle down the edges (and do likewise with the up most edge of where the Floralier vases snap together), add the proper length 3/4" 100 PSI PVC pipe (based on the space needed for your shoulders), and little elbow grease popping it all together and...

VIOLA!

Those plates ain't go'n nowhere!

Hot glue is handy, but certainly not required.

Operators are standing by!

What's the length of the PVC you used?

That's the trick... the length of the PVC in the middle is determined by the distance needed to accommodate your shoulders.

Another factor is how long the couplers are that you end up finding.  It's possible that you could find some that have a 1/2" of depth on both ends, and mine only had 1/4"... it's easy to get your measurements off with so many variables.  I'd say as a rough outline, 6CM?

Ahh, I see.  That makes sense.  What tool did you use to grind off the tips of the connectors?

Heh... Exacto knife... look at the terrible "whittle" marks.
