Thanks a lot, Gary!! :D  That Testors paint is insane stuff.  There's some small sections of the engine that I'm not 100% happy with, but you have to have your face pushed right against it to actually see the flaws.  Ultimately, it's not a big deal at all, lol.

You may have noticed that I went with the uncut shoulders.  To be honest, I like the way they look and the fact that BBI made them like that for a while is not a biggie.  Also, I was afraid of messing up the shoulder parts entirely if I cut off too much so that it matched the curve of the barrel.

Very nice job.  How did you get the smooth glossy finish on the gumball dispenser?  I just finished painting mine but it's not nearly as nice as yours.

Thanks!  The finish is just gloss clear coat, which is very important for protecting that expensive testor's paint.  It's a must if you're going to any conventions too!
